Sailor Moon was so important to me when I was young, too. Girls could be heroes? Girls could actually be friends and be supportive of each other in spite of their differences? Girls who were too tall/flaky/aloof/nerdy/masculine/feminine/whatever were still worthy of love?
I think it will always be one of those series that's close to my heart, too.
